March 1, 2007 - CMSI makes Big Impact at 2007 Dealer Expo

CMSI Motor Sports created quite a buzz at this year’s Dealer Expo in Indianapolis. There were plenty of new and exciting products on display in CMSI’s new custom designed 20 x 50 foot tradeshow booth. The CMSI sales team was kept busy with the unprecedented number of dealers and International distributors visiting this year's booth.

A special champagne toast with unique logo goblets was held during the show to commemorate the official launch of CMSI’s brands into the Global Market. With the addition of Canada and commitments from International distributors in several other countries, 2007 will mark the first year of International distribution for CMSI brands.

On display at CMSI’s Dealer Expo booth was the 2007 motor scooter line-up from TNG that included 4 new models. The response from existing and prospective dealers was very positive as the 2007 models feature several quality and engineering improvements, allowing TNG to expand its warranty to 24 months.  According to Garret Haider, CMSI's new Vice President of Sales and Marketing “I was extremely pleased with the strong turnout and interest by many of the big powersport dealers and International distributors. They are very interested in finding a serious manufacturer/distributor with a quality line of motor scooters that is well supported with technical service and replacement parts, with very attractive price points. Haider added, "Of course one of the biggest assets of the TNG line is that the final assembly and complete QC and PDI are all done in CMSI's Preston, WA plant."

The latest L-Series motor scooter prototype received plenty of attention, as was expected. The recently completed engineering and design improvements, performed by the renowned Italian firm EDI,Spa, resulted in positive feedback. Dealers and distributors were excited to see the project is still very much alive and moving forward. "This is a very important product for CMSI and this year's show impressed upon us the demand this classic scooter will enjoy once production models are ready for distribution." said Tom Lynott, CMSI President.

Dealer Expo was also the official launch of Innovative Soft Storage, the new soft storage accessory line manufactured and distributed by CMSI. The ISS bag line features heavy duty construction and smart design at price points that make these bags very attractive for dealers and consumers. The new product line was a big hit and many dealers confirmed the need for a high quality, value priced accessory bag line by placing initial orders.

PM Tuning Racing Products and Domino Grips are distributed by CMSI and were also represented in this year's booth. Both product lines generated significant interest, resulting in initial orders from several dealers.

With more great products than ever, CMSI is posed for its best year ever, according to Tom Lynott, President of CMSI. “I am extremely pleased to see the market responding so well to all the hard work we have put in over the past year to improve our offerings.”

After the show, the general consensus from the Motor sports press as well as the show attendees was that CMSI had made great improvements with their quality, selection of products, dealer support, and is positioned to become one of the leaders in the Motor sports Industry.
